Aquero Company's personal care additives are targeted for markets
currently served by polyquaternium polymers. "Quat" chemistry is tricky and expensive, but very useful.

Aquero's biopolymer alternatives to polyquats not
only offer some clear advantages related to benign methods of synthesis, biocompatibility, and overall sustainable profiles,
but they also compete very well on cost/performance. The current focus is on additives that generate good feel and softness
to products such as handwashes, lotions, shampoos, and other products of this type.
The initial studies,
including panel assessments, were conducted by Aquero Company. The current evaluations are ongoing by a multinational company.
Aquero Company is not looking to commercialize conventional polyaspartates that have been introduced to
some extent as moisturizers in products such as lotions, make-up, shampoos, and the like. Rather, Aquero is introducing
higher performance molecules and formulations with higher value-added.
